Saudi Press: Localizing Technology and Expertise are among Key Goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030

Riyadh, Nov. 16, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that localizing technology and expertise and enhancing common interests with countries and investment entities are among the key goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030. Saudi Arabia launched its goals and strategy, recording advanced position on the global investment map, which showed great interest and interaction with promising opportunities in the Saudi economy, the paper said. In this regard, Saudi Arabia has become the preferred destination for global investment and a regional headquarters for major international companies, the paper added. The World Defense Show will be launched on March 2022 in Riyadh, is a leading global event in the field of defense and security and reflects the future of the military industries of Saudi Arabia and its importance in the strategy of investment, the paper concluded. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that within the goals of Saudi Arabia's 2030, HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced establishing the world’s first non-profit city. Establishment of the new city aims to support the non-profit sector and enhance its progress with different work mechanisms and unprecedented qualitative ideas, in order to achieve its full goals, the paper said. Such unprecedented project also aims to achieve the aspirations of innovators in science and technology with advanced systems, such as artificial intelligence and Internet of Things and Robotics, the paper added.
