Riyadh, Nov. 28, 2021, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, and Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, attended today at the headquarters of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in Riyadh the awarding Aramco with the sustainable gold classification within the first phase and the design approval certificate for King Salman Energy Park “SPARK” project, as well as the inauguration of the electronic link between the Developers Services Center "ETMAM" and Aramco, in cooperation with the Digital Government Authority. In a key speech, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abulaziz, the Minister of Energy, said that all government sectors, including the "energy", "municipal" and "housing" sectors, enjoy unlimited support from the leadership, which had a great impact in unifying efforts to achieve the development goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, extending his appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince for their continuous support. The minister noted that King Salman Energy Park “SPARK” receiving the first sustainable gold classification certificate, reflects its commitment to sustainability standards and environment-friendly systems in energy, water, transportation, and waste management in design to enhance the sustainability of construction in all aspects, to be an integrated global center in energy and its industries and its needed support, technical and logistical services. For his part, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, said that activating the electronic link between the Developers Services Center “ETMAM” and Saudi Aramco King Salman Energy Park “SPARK” and receiving the first sustainable gold classification in the Kingdom in the category of societies by the Ministry’s Sustainable Building Program, comes within the framework of effective cooperation between the two ministries to achieve positive results to meet the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
