Makkah, July 21, 2021, SPA -- In the framework of cementing cooperation between the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and the Makkah-based Umm al-Qura University, Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi inaugurated here today SPA Information Center at Umm al-Qura University, which has been established to cover this year's Hajj season. Director General of News Mohammed Al-Mazyad, who is also the Head of SPA Mission during this year's Hajj season, briefed the Minister on the statistics of news broadcasted by SPA during this year's Hajj season as well as services provided by SPA for local and world media. Dr. Al-Qasabi met with members of SPA Mission, praising their efforts in covering this year's Hajj season. Meanwhile, Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met with officials from Umm al-Qura University, commending the achievements made by Umm Al-Qura University as well as its permanent cooperation with media system in all fields.
