Riyadh, September 04, 2021, SPA -- The Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum Newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has enacted tight rules contributed to confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, protecting the health of citizens and residents and ensuring their safety. These rules effectively contributed to making the health condition in the Kingdom unaffected by the epidemiological fluctuations that have been witnessed by many countries of the world, the paper said. Saudi Arabia provide free of charge vaccines for all citizens and residents alike kept its economy productive and gainful, while many other countries witnessed economic losses, the paper added. Al-Yaum Newspaper disclosed that the Bloomberg International News Agency confirmed that Saudi Arabia has the best immunization systems in the world, through tight vaccine precautionary rules which contributed to preserving the safety of society. Al Eqtisadiah Newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has set a historical strategy that related to the environment and climate preservation, especially in light of the growing global concerns over the environmental future of the earth, the paper wrote. In this regard, Riyadh will host the inaugural edition of the “Green Saudi Initiative Forum” and the “Green Middle East Initiative Summit" next month, the paper said. The two initiatives were announced by the His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who made this issue among the priorities, the paper further said. The Saudi Green Initiative Forum and Middle East Green Initiative Summit will bring together heads of the states, senior officials, business leaders, academic figures, environmental specialists, and civil society, the paper added. The initiatives emanate from Saudi Arabia’s leading role in preserving the planet and supporting the efforts of the international community in combatting environmental challenges, the paper further added.
