Cairo, June 16, 2021, SPA – The 51st session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers started today at the headquarters of General Secretariat of the Arab League, under the chairmanship of Acting Minister of Media of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, in the presence of Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and with participation of media ministers, officials and heads of relevant federations and organizations. Arab information ministers and heads of participating Arab delegations held a consultation meeting to coordinate issues on the agenda of the Arab Ministerial Council, mainly those related to initiatives and proposals offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab League General Secretariat regarding preparing an Arab strategy to deal with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
