Khartoum, June 30, 2021, SPA -- The Sudanese Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Prof. Yasser Abbas, travelled today to the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to take part in the 24th periodic ministerial meeting of the Southern Nile Basin countries, with the participation of the ministers of irrigation and water resources of those countries. The meetings will discuss the adoption of the new budget for the projects that took place in the southern Nile countries and the future work plan. At the conclusion of the meetings, the Democratic Republic of Congo will take over the presidency of the new session from Ethiopia, the current head of the session.
