Cairo, May 25, 2021, SPA -- Arab Parliament Speaker Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi today congratulated the leaders of the GCC states on the occasion of the councils’ 40th anniversary, which falls on May 25, 1981, commending the relentless efforts of the heads of the member states in the service of their countries and people. In a statement today, Al-Asoumi said the GCC has acted as an incubator of the joint Gulf political action, that was able to unite the member states in the face of crises rippling in the region, adding that the progress in many areas of cooperation and integration achieved by the member states has met the aspirations of the people of the Gulf countries.
