Riyadh, May 08, 2021, SPA -- Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan share close and distinguished historical relations that extend for long decades. In a press statement issued on the occasion of the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the KSrelief Supervisor General said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, always support and help the brothers in Pakistan, adding that the Kingdom, through the KSrelief, has provided 118 humanitarian projects for the Pakistani people at a cost of more than USD123 million in the fields of food security, health, education, water and environmental sanitation as well as other vital projects, benefiting many needy Pakistani families. Dr. Al Rabeeah said that in light of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the Kingdom has provided aid to the brothers in Pakistan, adding that the Kingdom, through the KSrelief, has provided medical and preventive aid to combat the Coronavirus, at a cost of USD 1,5 million. --SPA 00:05 LOCAL TIME 21:05 GMT 0001 www.spa.gov.sa/w1555199
