Cairo, May 03, 2021, SPA -- The Arab Parliament has denounced terrorist Houthi militias’ launching of bomb-laden UAVs and ballistic missiles in an attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the Saudi air defenses managed to intercept and destroy these UAVs and missiles. In a statement issued today, the Arab Parliament warned against the continuous terrorist acts of the Houthi militia that reflect persistence to go on with their sinful assaults on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are considered war crimes, denouncing the Houthis’ rejection to calls to end the war in Yemen and reaching a peaceful solution that ends the suffering of the Yemeni people. In this regard, the Arab Parliament called on the international community to adopt an instant and decisive movement against the Iran-backed Houthis’ terrorist acts, crimes and violations against humanity, as well as holding perpetrators accountable for these crimes. The Arab Parliament also voiced full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in facing these terrorist attacks and whatever threatens its security and stability, as well as supporting it in whatever procedures it takes to maintain the security and safety of its citizens and residents, reiterating that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the Arab national security system. --SPA 14:18 LOCAL TIME 11:18 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1552767
