Yemeni Ambassador to Malaysia Reviews with Malaysian Official Violations of Houthi Militia against Civilians

Kuala Lumpur, Apr. 12, 2021, SPA -- Yemen's Ambassador to Malaysia Dr. Adel Bahamid reviewed today with Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) Tan Sri Othman bin Hashim, systematic violations of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias against civilians and displaced Yemenis. Ambassador Bahamid referred to violations committed by the Houthi militia against the civilians, throughout the country, citing direct attacks, arrests, torture, enforced disappearance, raids, bombing of houses and properties, child recruitment, planting mines in civilian areas, according to Yemen News Agency (Saba). During the meeting, they discussed the developments of the situation in Yemen in the field of human rights and the implications of the humanitarian crisis caused by the Houthi coup.
