Riyadh, October 14, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) strongly denounced the flagrant and recurrent violations of the terrorist Houthi militia against Yemeni civilians and its embargo and hunger of more than 37,000 people in Al-Abdiyah District, Marib Governorate, most of them are women, children and elderly since September. The KSrelief also condemned the Houthi militia’s targeting of the main and only hospital in Al-Abdiyah District with ballistic missiles and its continuous bombardment with heavy weapons and UAVs on the district, not allowing the injured to leave for treatment, hindering the entry of medical supplies and food assistance through closing the only road leading to the district that already suffers from shortages in all the daily basic needs due to the embargo that represents one of the most heinous and biggest crimes against humanity. The Center called on the UN organizations and international community to open a safe humanitarian passage to deliver humanitarian aid to Al-Abdiyah District, and stand firm against this inhumane crime that is perpetrated by the terrorist Houthi militia and violated all international principles and human rights, in addition to repeating irresponsible acts that disallow humanitarian assistance to reach those in need, and its continuous and deliberate attacks against children, women and the elderly, urging to exert pressure on the militias to stop their attacks and immediately end the embargo in the district in order to allow the entry of necessary medical and food supplies. --SPA 17:49 LOCAL TIME 14:49 GMT 0017 www.spa.gov.sa/w1635395
