Riyadh, Jul 3, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues on local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Iranian regime is continuing its terrorist acts, threatening the stability of the region and the world, in addition to undermining the efforts that aim at reaching political solutions in this regard, the editorial said. Iranian regime's support for its proxies of outlawed militias contributed to worsening humanitarian situation in some Arab countries such as Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, the editorial added. The Iran- backed terrorist Houthi militia in Yemen is deliberately targeting the civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in blatant violation of international law, the editorial also said. In this context, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls on the parties of the Riyadh Agreement to urgently respond to the agreed upon terms, avoid conflict, and implement the mechanisms that were proposed, the editorial added. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls for prioritizing the public interest and completing the implementation of the remaining provisions of the agreement, in order to unite the ranks of the various segments of the Yemeni people, prevent bloodshed, bridge the rift between Yemeni factions and complete the path towards restoring the Yemeni state and achieving security and stability, the editorial concluded. --SPA 11:25 LOCAL TIME 08:25 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w1579943
