Riyadh, May 15, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers reported in their editorials that since the Palestinian exodus in 1948, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has never stopped supporting Palestinian cause by all financial, diplomatic and social means. Saudi Arabia leads the Arab and Islamic worlds in supporting Palestinian issue as the first issue of the Arabs, papers said. The papers pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia initiates a request to hold a virtual emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the level of foreign ministers, to discuss the Israeli attacks in the Palestinian territories, especially in Jerusalem. The Saudi government and people reject what the Israeli army is committing against the Palestinian people, in light of world's silence, the papers added.
