SRCA Launches New Strategy with 170 Projects, 56 Initiatives to Develop Ambulatory Services

Riyadh, March 23, 2021, SPA -- The President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA), Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi has launched SRCA’s new strategy 2025. The strategy aims to develop and improve the quality of emergency medical services and develop the infrastructure and organizational work of the authority. Dr. Al-Owaisi said that the launch of the strategy comes in accordance with a new vision to achieve excellence in preserving lives, serving people and participating in the society, so that the authority continues its march to achieve safety and alleviate sufferings through emergency and humanitarian services being provided without discrimination. He added that the strategy is based on seven main goals, including improving the quality of emergency medical services, developing infrastructure, enhancing financial sustainability, developing human and community services, enhancing and sustaining human resources, developing authority’s revenues and enhancing its presence at the international level. The President further said that the strategy aims to reach 14 main goals covering 40 indicators to measure the extent to which these goals are achieved. As a result, SRCA’s strategy included 56 initiatives and 170 projects, which will contribute to making a real leap in the development of the ambulatory services sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the next five years. --SPA 13:55 LOCAL TIME 10:55 GMT 0020 www.spa.gov.sa/w1529242
