Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Adapts National Strategy for Data and Artificial Intelligence

Riyadh, August 11, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers said in their editorials that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has adapted the national strategy for data and artificial intelligence for achieve goals of the Kingdom's vision 2030. The papers added that this national strategy aims to develop the automation and governance system, institutional performance, as well as the national priorities. The papers indicated that the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to adopt the National Strategy for Data and Artificial Intelligence proves the Kingdom's leaders aspire to make the transforming into a prosperous country in all fields. The role of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is embodied in the effective contribution to elevating Saudi Arabia to leadership within the data-based economies. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its role to provide aid and assistance to the affected, displaced and refugees in many countries of the world, and has always been hosting donor conferences and calling for a peaceful solution to conflicts and providing aid within the framework of its comprehensive humanitarian role in supporting humanitarian issues. The paper pointed out that Saudi Arabia is one of the largest donor countries in the volume of relief, humanitarian and development aid, as it has allocated a large portion of that aid to refugees in areas that have suffered and are still suffering from conflicts, wars and natural disasters.
