OIC Secretary General: Freedom of Expression Does Not Mean Offending Religions Followers or Religious Symbols

Jeddah, November 20, 2020, SPA -- The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, affirmed that the position of the OIC is consistent in terms of rejecting extremism, terrorism, considering that terrorism phenomenon has no religion or nationality, stressing that freedom of expression does not mean offending followers of religions or religious symbols. This came during a phone call he received from the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Yves Le Drian, in which the two sides discussed the relations between the OIC and France.
