Interfaith dialogue center holds debate session on sustainable religious and developmental values

Riyadh, Oct 22,2020, SPA -- Secretary General of King Abdullah International Center for Dialogue among followers of religions and cultures Faisal bin Muammar underscored the roles affecting individuals and leaders alike of effective religious entities making them an unchallenged social force as leaders of peace-building during tough times and achieving stability in their societies and living within joint citizenship in a way that contributes to drafting the UN plan for sustainable development 2030. During chairing a high-level electronic debate on sustainable religious and developmental values, bin Muammar said that visions, prospects and energies instigating religious institutions have become hearable by policy makers as they developed to become effective in their humanitarian societies, citing their effective roles in Africa as they provide between 30% - 70 % of health services and exert tangible roles in education, poverty fighting, relief, clean water, food provision and investment. --SPA 21:48 LOCAL TIME 18:48 GMT 0017 www.spa.gov.sa/w1434227
