Mina, July 29, 2020, SPA – Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior Lt. Col. Talal Al-Shalhoub confirmed the completion of implementing security forces' tasks to facilitate the transfer of pilgrims to the holy sites to spend Al-Tarwiyah Day in Mina in preparation for their transfer to Mount Arafat at the dawn of the 9th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. He also confirmed the completion of preparations to receive pilgrims at Mount Arafat and performing the rituals of Hajj taking place this year according to strict health procedures to ensure distancing among the pilgrims across various locations where they are present to perform their Hajj rituals. Lt. Col. Al-Shalhoub further said that transportation to the holy sites is carried out by using buses according to a special system that achieves all health precautionary measures for the protection from coronavirus, stressing that the security authorities impose a tight security cordon around the holy sites to apply the instructions that prevent entry to these holy sites without a permission from the competent authorities until the end of Hajj season, in addition to apprehending violators and applying the penalties against them. --SPA 12:25 LOCAL TIME 09:25 GMT 0005 www.spa.gov.sa/w1381333
