Makkah, April 06, 2020, SPA -- The media spokesperson for the police of Makkah Region, Major Mohammed Abdel Wahab Al-Ghamdi, stated that during the work of a traffic patrol on the evening of Sunday at one of the security checkpoints on Al-Haramain Road east of Jeddah Governorate, a traffic officer was run over by a vehicle whose driver failed to comply with instructions to stop and drove away at a high speed; this resulted in the death of the security man and the driver of the violating vehicle, a citizen in the third decade of his life, was arrested and regular measures were taken against him.     --SPA 03:25 LOCAL TIME 00:25 GMT 0024 www.spa.gov.sa/w1301752
