Arab Program for Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases in Arab Region Holds Meeting in Sudan

Khartoum, Nov. 26, 2019, SPA -- Arab Steering Committee of the Arab Program for the Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases in the Arab Region started at the headquarters of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in Khartoum here today. The two-day meeting was held with the participation of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development; Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations; Regional Office of the World Organization for Animal Health in the Middle East; Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa and an representative of Sahel Group, in addition to 12 experts from livestock managers in the Arab countries that are members of the Emergency Program for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD), namely: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen. --SPA 19:58 LOCAL TIME 16:58 GMT 0038 www.spa.gov.sa/w1217610
