Manama, September 11, 2019, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for an emergency meeting for the foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to address the announcement of Israeli Prime Minister of his plan to annex the Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea in the West Bank settlements, if he were reelected on September 17. Bahrain stressed that this invitation embodies the strategic role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at the regional and international levels, as well as its role in defending Arab and Islamic issues, primarily the Palestinian cause.
