Athens, July 11, 2019, SPA -- At least six people were killed in a storm in northern Greece overnight, state broadcaster ERT reported Thursday, according to dpa. The Halkidiki peninsula was hardest hit by the storm, which was accompanied by strong winds and heavy rainfall. Tourists from the Czech Republic, Romania and Russia were among those killed, ERT radio reported, citing disaster relief officials and police. Dozens of people were injured, news portal Protothema reported.
