Riyadh, December 25, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's interest in the sector of tourism has reached its climax in the past period, embodied in the announcement of giant tourism projects, such as the "Red Sea" and "Qaddiya" projects, that aimed at increasing the sector's income, to reach 10 percent of the total national income of the Kingdom, in addition to securing about one million jobs for the youth by 2030. The paper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to boost the cooperation and coordination with the Arab countries, within the framework of joint initiatives and programs, and called them during the 22nd session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism to invest the opportunities available in this sector and turn it into an important source to support their economies. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that since the launch of the Kingdom's vision 2030, great strides were made towards sustainable development and a transformation program to diversify income sources.
