Riyadh, June 23, 2019, SPA -- Saudi Ministry of Justice will participate in the 22nd Diplomatic Session of Hague Conference on Private International Law being held from June 18 to July 2 to discuss and approve the Final Hague Convention for the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's participation in the Conference comes as a member of the Conference, where it participates with a delegation from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Interior, alongside 83 States parties to the Conference and international organizations such as the European Union. The session is the last in a series of sessions over the years to discuss the text of the Convention, in preparation for signing or accession by interested countries. The distinguished and effective system for the implementation of foreign judgments in the Kingdom's courts is one of the most important elements in stimulating trade and investment between the Kingdom and the member countries of the relevant agreements and enhances the international status of the Saudi judiciary. --SPA 13:42 LOCAL TIME 10:42 GMT 0005 www.spa.gov.sa/w1123941
