Helsinki, Oct. 19, 2019, SPA – Advisor at the Royal Court, General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah reviewed in a symposium held here today relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through the Center for the needy in the world with participation of Yemeni Minister of Local Administration Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah and Program Director in the Finnish Crisis Management Initiative Dr. Ville Brummer. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah stressed that the Kingdom is doing its utmost to support the needy the countries in the world affected by the natural disasters or conflicts, to alleviate their suffering and support to provide decent livelihoods for them. Dr. Al-Rabeeah gave a presentation on the relief and humanitarian efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Center, which implemented 1,062 projects in more than 45 countries, especially in Yemen. For his part, Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief in Yemen Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the humanitarian projects provided to his country, pointing out that the Center has become a relief icon in the world despite its short life. In turn, a program director in the Finnish Crisis Management Initiative, Dr. Ville Brummer, added that the huge amount of aid allocated by the Kingdom for relief work and assistance to countries around the world proves that the Kingdom is one of the leading and distinguished countries in this regard, pointing out that what distinguishes the Saudi assistance is that it is provided for the purpose of relief and relief for the victims and not for other purposes. Brummer expressed his hope to find ways of cooperation and fruitful partnership between Finland and the KSRelief to serve the needy and spread humanitarian work in all countries of the world.
