Riyadh, Dec 14, 2019, SPA -- The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) won the first place for the Innovative Team Award, as part of Hamdan bin Mohammed Award for Innovation, for Project Management. The award was received by Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Empowerment, who is also the Team Leader Eng. Fahad bin Saleh Al-Azzam, during a ceremony held recently, in Dubai, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Heir Apparent of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai. The ministry team has established the institutional project management office, in accordance with internationally recognized best practices, in this field, through the project, which was specifically designed to fit the work requirements, at the Ministry of Health, and this system is characterized by strong base that enables the effective management and follow-up of all projects and initiatives, linking 20 regional administrations spread in all regions of the Kingdom, with the main center in Riyadh.
