Riyadh, Rabi'I 10, 1439 H., November 28, 2017, SPA -- Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), honored Khaled Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the Economic Department at SPA, for winning the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) 2017 Contest best media report titled (Transformation of Riyadh Dream into Reality .. Train of Smart Tracks). Back from FANA annual meeting held in Amman, Jordan, where the award was announced, Al-Hussein handed over the FANA certificate and a gift to Al-Amoudi during a special reception at SPA headquarters in Riyadh today to mark the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Al-Hussain lauded Al-Amoudi's great job which, he said, reflects an outstanding and growing editorial performance at SPA. "SPA is very proud of the outstanding performance of its editors in various fields, both in the editorial administration at the head office or its offices and reporters inside and outside the Kingdom. SPA occupies an advanced position as well as important and reliable source of news locally, regionally and internationally in addition to its distinguished news reports and surveys which are a pride of all. This important award at the level of the Arab news agencies is an evidence of the level reached by the SPA," Al-Hussain said.
