At the beginning of the reception, the audience watched a movie on the strength and depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt in various fields. Then, the Egyptian Minister of Culture Dr Helmi Al-Namnam delivered a speech in which he stressed the depth of historical relations between the two countries in all fields, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; government and people for their positions in favor of Egypt and its people. He said: "We meet today to celebrate together the Kingdom in an important moment in the history of the Arab nation in spite of all what is happening in Syria, Libya, Iraq and Palestine of terrorist acts threatening its unity and peoples by displacement", describing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt as a rock upon which ambitions of all evils have been crashed.
