Riyadh, 02 Sha'ban,1439 AH, 18 April,2018 , SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, has confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing a comprehensive and significant renaissance in the tourism sector with the great support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who directed to pay attention to this vital sector and support it with decisions and budgets that contribute to its development to be an essential contributor to the national economy. In his address at the 8th Session of Tourism Ministers of the Group 20, which opened in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires yesterday, the Prince said that the Commission has submitted a strategy for the development of national tourism approved by the State in 2005 to be one of the most important engines of the economy in the national transformation program and adopted as a central element along with heritage and culture in Kingdom's vision 2030. He pointed out that the Kingdom has announced through several government institutions investments amounting nearly half trillion US dollars in large projects characterized by tourism in a number of regions.
