Buenos Aires, 03 Sha'ban,1439 AH, 19 April,2018 , SPA -- Ministers of Tourism of the Group of Twenty (G-20), concluded their 8th session in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires yesterday. Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the session. The session adopted the vision presented by Prince Sultan bin Salman about the importance of complementarity between tourism on the one hand and the heritage and local cultures on the other hand, and calling for intensifying harmony between tourism programs with the heritage and culture of the member countries as the tourism growth requires assimilating the culture and heritage which constitute the distinctive identity of each country and the biggest attractor for tourists, as these values are common in strengthening the roles of tourism in rapprochement between peoples, intercultural understanding and the promotion of identity affiliation which is equivalent to or surpassing the importance of tourism economically. -- SPA 13:13 LOCAL TIME 10:13 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w672246
