Colombo, September 08, 2019 -- The Speaker of Saudi Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh arrived here today on an official visit at the invitation of the Speaker of Sri Lankan Parliament Karu Jayasuriya. He was received upon his arrival by the Speaker of the Sri Lankan Parliament, Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka Abdul Nasser Al-Harthy and a number of officials. Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh in a press statement hailed Saudi-Sri Lankan bilateral relations based on cooperation and friendship under the auspices of the leaderships of the two countries, commending the remarkable growth of bilateral relations between the two countries. He pointed that the Kingdom and Sri Lanka share a vital aspect of combating terrorism which is not related to religion or race.
