San Francisco, Rajab 28, 1439, Apr 14, 2018, SPA -- A strategic partnership memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Cybersecurity, Industrial Intelligence and Programming Academy and US Coursera Inc., the world's largest provider of interactive distance training and academic programs, has been co-signed here on Friday. The agreement was co-signed on behalf of the academy by the Advisor at the Royal Court and President of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity and Programming Saud Al-Qahtani and the Dean of the academy Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Dahlawi. Dr. Al-Dahlawi explained that the strategic partnership will allow the academy's students to access academic content and interactive training that will be offered through 164 universities around the world, the most important of which are famous American universities such as Stafford, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, George Washington, California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech), Georgia Tech Institute and many other international universities allied with Coursera Inc. Such a partnership, he added, will allow the students of the academy to be trained in the professional education programs provided by the most famous Silicon Valley technology companies, such as Google, IBM, etc. Dr. Al-Dahlawi pointed out that the academy will, under this strategic partnership, work with Coursera Inc. and its allied universities to design academic, training programs and content as a part of the educational programs' components to be presented by the academy, as soon as the academy be put into commission. -- SPA 19:51 LOCAL TIME 16:51 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w667933
