Washington, June 24, 2019, SPA -- The United States today condemned the terrorist attack on Abha International Airport by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia. A statement issued by the US State Department on behalf of Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo said that the Houthi rebels backed by Iran launched a drone attack on Abha International Airport for the second time in less than two weeks, and preliminary reports indicate the death of one person and wounding of 21 others. The Iranian-backed attacks are unacceptable, and they are more reprehensible because they target innocent civilians, it said.
