Riyadh, 19 Rajab,1438 AH, 16 April,2017 , SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has temporarily banned the import of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks from the Republic of Vietnam due to the highly pathogenic avian flu disease. The Director General of Department of Animal and Plant Quarantine, Dr. Osama bin Abdullah Al-Saleh said that the ban was based on the warning issued by the World Organization for Animal Health, which includes the breaking out of cases of the avian influenza. -- SPA 16:04 LOCAL TIME 13:04 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w377840
