Riyadh, Ramadan 23, 1439, Jun 8, 2018, SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has banned the importation of live birds, incubated eggs and chicks from the State of Nepal, it was reported here today. Dr. Sanad Al-Harbi, Director General of Livestock Risks Evaluation Department at the ministry, said the ban came upon a follow-up of the veterinary health situation in the world in general and the brief of the Warning Bulletin issued by the OIE which informs about the outbreak of high-risk bird influenza in Nepal and taking precautionary steps to prevent the infiltration of the disease in the Kingdom and achieving the public interest.
