Makkah, Jumada I 29, 1438, February 26, 2017, SPA -- A fire-fighting squad of Makkah Civil Defense has successfully put off a fire that flared up at a fenced-land used for upholstered chairs shops in the neighborhood of Jalil Valley in Makkah city. Major Naif Al-Sharif, official spokesman of the General Administration for Civil Defense in the holy capital of Makkah, explained that having received a report of the blaze, the fire-extinguishing squad rushed to the scene to find that it has gutted a 30X50 meter area accommodating an upholstered laboratory which is partly roofed with brick-made walls just behind Al-Najah oil station and swiftly and successfully quelled it without human losses or injuries.
