Mina, 07 Dhu-AlHijjah,1436 , 21 September,2015, SPA -- The civil defense teams were able early today to extinguish a fire that broke out in one of the hotels for housing pilgrims in Makkah. The Director of the Information Department and Information Spokesman for Civil Defense, Colonel Abdullah Al-Orabi Al-Harthy, explained that the incident took place at exactly 2:45 a.m. in the morning as civil defense operations received a report on the fire in the floor 11th in a hotel consisting of 15 floors, and immediately directed equipped civil defense teams to rush to the site and they evacuated 1,500 pilgrims in that hotel and later returned them to the hotel after confirmation that the site is safe. He indicated that the incident resulted in minor injuries for four pilgrims from Yemeni nationality.
