Riyadh, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 18, 1438 H., August 10, 2017, SPA -- Yemen's Vice President General Ali Mohsen Saleh called for mounting more pressure on Houthi coup commanders to coerce them implement Security Council resolutions regarding Yemen, particularly the resolution No. 2216 aiming to push for political solutions. During a meeting in Riyadh today with the Chief of the European Union Mission to Yemen Antonia Kalvo Piorta, Saleh confirmed the importance of matching any suggested solutions with the UN efforts, citing the representation of the UN and the three references agreed upon as bases for that.
