Riyadh, Rabi'I 28, 1438, December 27, 2016, SPA -- Technical and Vocational Training Corporation has announced the training of 183,691 trainees in its institutes and centers in the Kingdom during 1437 AH in more than 300 specialties according to the needs of the private sector. The Corporation's official spokesman Fahd Al-Otaibi pointed out that the Corporation works on encouraging the private sector to invest in training to contribute to providing training programs in line with labor market needs of qualifying manpower. Al-Otaibi said that Riyadh region topped the number of trainees in the national training institutes by (33%), followed by Makkah region by 32%, and the Eastern Region by 15.4%, while the total number of training institutes and centers amounted to 945 in various cities and regions of the Kingdom. -- SPA 12:10 LOCAL TIME 09:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w299258
