Turkish President Receives Crown Prince, Holds Talks with him

Ankara, Dhu-AlHijjah 29, 1437, Sep 30, 2016, SPA -- Turkish President Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan received at the Presidential Palace here today the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior. Upon arrival of the Crown Prince to the palace, he was accompanied by the President to the entrance of the palace, where a photo session has taken place. Then, the two officials held talks. At the outset of the reception, the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Turkish President, and his keenness on bolstering bilateral relations. During the talks, they reviewed overall bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, in addition to the latest regional developments, in the Middle East and internationally exerted efforts, towards dealing with them. The reception was attended by accompanying delegation. In concluding the reception, a ceremony was held, where the Crown Prince was awarded the Turkish Republic Order, followed by playing the two national anthems and ended by reciting the career of the Crown Prince. Afterwards, the President addressed the audience, expressing pleasure at awarding the order to the Crown Prince, though it is dedicated to heads of state who endeavor to bolster relations among their countries and Turkey, pointing that the award of the order reflects the deepness of close relations and ties, binding the two countries. Addressing the Crown Prince, the President said that you have consolidated the rations which have been built on ancient history and fraternity of the two nations and while the region is witnessing tragedies and strafes, you were actively working to bring about security and peace, to the region, saying that consolidating bilateral relations, would open a lot of opportunities, in all domains. -- more 20:37 LOCAL TIME 17:37 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
