Upon arrival in Mina valley, a pilgrim is embarked on the main stone-throwing ritual called Jamrat Al-Aqaba, to be followed by a free dressing, that's optional taking off the Ihram, white unstitched body cover, slaughtering a sacrifice, and shaving. Then he/she should rush to perform circumambulation of the holy Kaaba (House of God) ritual in the city of Makkah. Once having done the seven-round walk around the Kaaba, and seven go-and-come-back set between Al-Safa and Al-Marwa, two mountains opposit to the House of God, a pilgrim is allowed to come back to Mina to have a two or three day stay during which he/she performs a three-stage stone-throwing against the replicas of the devil which once obstructed the way of Prophet Ibrahim in this place. According to SPA media team, the event is enjoying Arab, Islamic and international media interest and keenness to live transmit the movement of the a bit more than two million female and male pilgrims amid successful and smooth Hajj trek which started from this valley the day before yesterday, through Arafat mount yesterday and Muzdalefa valley last night. A pilgrim who leaves Mina after his optional two or three stay will have to rush once more to Makkah to say goodbye to the House of God before going home if he had already visited the Prophet in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, otherwise he/she should make Al-Madina visit where he/she performs prayers in the Prophet's mosque, and greets the Prophet and his comapnions before leaving en route home. --SPA 10:53 LOCAL TIME 07:53 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
