Washington, Shawwal 11, 1437, Jul 16, 2016, SPA -- The Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said here today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would welcome Russian effective participation, in the war against IS, or "Daesh" terrorist outfit, in Syria; however, not in exchange for maintaining the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, in power or more attacks on the moderate opposition. Al-Jubeir added, at a news conference here, that Saudi Arabia is following US Secretary of State John Kerry talks with his Russian counterpart, as Kerry carries a proposals on strengthening military cooperation, in the field of information against Daesh, al-Qaeda and other terrorists, in Syria, to the Russians.
