Riyadh, 27 Jumada I 1436, March 18, 2015, SPA -- The General Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, who is also the Chairman of the Senior Ulema Commission and the Standing Committee for Religious Research and Ifta, today condemned in the strongest words the statements issued by Sweden's Foreign Minister defaming the Saudi judiciary system, calling whoever undergrade our judiciary system as either ignorant or biased. As part of his comments at a broadcasting weekly program, Al Al-Sheikh described those statements as fake and baseless, adding that the judiciary system in Saudi Arabia is independent and nobody could dictate it as it was based on the holy Quran and Sunnah (the prophet's sayings and deeds). Our religion gives rights to all people alike, he said, citing the multinationality presence in the Kingdom and the fairness they enjoy according to labor law and other laws and regulations.
