Berlin, Rabi'II 19, 1436, February 08, 2015, SPA -- Tens of thousands of passengers at three German regional airports are set to face long delays when security personnel go on strike Monday in a wage dispute, dpa reported. The Verdi trade union called the one-day strike for airports in Hamburg, Stuttgart and Hanover. Hamburg Airport warned of "significant delays" at security checkpoints and urged travellers to check with their airline to make sure their flight has not been cancelled. The union is demanding wage increases of between 0.70 and 2.50 euros (0.80 and 2.80 dollars) per hour. Most security personnel earn between 8.50 and 9 euros per hour, depending on the state, Verdi said. --SPA 15:57 LOCAL TIME 12:57 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
