Cairo, Rabi II 1, 1436 H, January 21, 2015, SPA -- The Arab League today criticized the Israeli conflicting reactions on Palestine's admission to the International Criminal Court, describing them as fanatic and irresponsible. Assistant Secretary General of the AL for Palestine and Arab Occupied Territories Affairs Mohammed Subaih said in a press statement that the Israeli reactions are in fact degrading the world court and the 123 signatories of its Rome-based Statute. He added that the Israeli campaign against the court and its General Prosecutor is never justified as the issues on the debate table are transparently being investigated through lawyers, judges and experts of international law. Had Israel was considered a democratic and a peace-loving country based on justice according to Israeli officials, then why they are afraid of opening an independent, transparent and impartial investigation that aims at bringing about justice and imposing the international law that benefits all peace-loving peoples of the world, Subaih questioned. --SPA 23:42 LOCAL TIME 20:42 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
