UNESCO, Gulf education ministries meet to explore education strategies until 2030

Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 24, 1436, September 08, 2015, SPA -- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Planning and Development Dr. Rashid bin Ghayadh Alghayadh stressed the importance of identifying indicators and benchmarks approved by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) of the aspects that should be included in future education strategies until 2030. This came in a speech today on behalf of the Minister of Education, Dr. Azzam Al-Dakhil while attending the opening session of the meeting, organized by the Arab Education for the Gulf States Office in cooperation with the UNESCO represented by its office in Doha, the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, and the Population Division of the United Nations to discuss the concerns of education at some point after 2015 in the GCC and Yemen held at the headquarters office in the capital Riyadh.
