Saudi-Qatari Joint Technical Committee on Demarking Border Concludes its 25th Meeting

Doha, Dhu-AlQa'dah 26, 1436, Sep 10, 2015, SPA -- The Saudi-Qatari Joint Committee on Demarking Land and Maritime border between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and State of Qatar Concluded its 25th meeting, which has been held in Doha on 9/10 Oct. 2015. The Joint Committee issued the following statement: In implementation of the minutes included in the joint record relating to the demarcation of land and maritime border between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar, signed in Jeddah on 5/7/2008, ratified by the governments of the two countries and based on the wordings concluded in the 24th Record of the Saudi-Qatari Joint Technical Committee on 30/4/2015 signed in Riyadh, the Joint Committee held its meeting on 9-10 Oct. 2015, in Doha, Qatar. The Saudi side was led by the Head of the General Commission for Survey Muraie bin Hassan Al-Shahrani, while the Qatari side was led by the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Rimaihi. The talks have been held, in fraternal atmosphere, and the Joint Committee discussed topics on the agenda. The Saudi side expressed, at the end of the meetings, thanks and appreciation of the Qatari side for the hospitality accorded to it, from the moment of arrival up to the departure. The Kingdom delegation left Doha this evening and was seen off by the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Rimaihi, the Qatari side and the Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Ayfan. -- SPA 22:48 LOCAL TIME 19:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
