Third, during his work at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Dr. Mohammed Al Sabban was in charge of following up the issues of environment and climate change and was not charged with pursuing the international oil market's developments. Thus, he was not part of the specialized economic team who studies the international market's conditions and the foreign oil policy of the kingdom and introduces ideas and recommendations regarding them. Furthermore, he did not participate in official delegations representing the kingdom in OPEC meetings, for example, since more than twenty years. Fourth, Dr. Mohammed Al Sabban's services with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources ended in mid 2013 and since then his work relationship with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources stopped. The statements made by him to Arab and international media and his press writings represent his personal view only and doesn't reflect the official position of the kingdom towards petroleum issues, which is contrary to what was reported by the newspaper.
