82 foreigners confirmed missing in Nepal since the earthquake

Kathmandu, Rajab 14, 1436, May 03, 2015, SPA -- More than 80 foreigners are reported missing in Nepal after last week's 7.8-magnitude earthquake, a government official said Sunday, according to dpa. "According to our records, 82 foreigners from different countries are confirmed missing," Interior Ministry spokesman Laxmi Dhakal said. In Kenjing Valley, site of the famous Langtang trekking route north of Kathmandu, a rescue operation found dead bodies of 48 people, including at least three foreigners buried under a landslide, police officer Prabin Pokharel said.
