Also speaking at the opening session were Sheikh of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Tayeb; the Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki; and the Kingdom's General Mufti, the Chairman of the Senior Ulema Commission, the Department of Religious research and Ifta Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Shiekh, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Council for MWL. They illustrated the danger posed by terrorist groups wearing the clothes of Islam and showed how Islam has nothing to do with this forged and illusive concept. They called on the Muslim world to shoulder its responsibility to put a plan how to fight this epidemic. They cited the importance of work in the field of education and media to illuminate people on the correct beliefs of our religion on one hand and show the absurdity of the terror groups claims on the other.
